EBC GD grooved brake discs

EBC's GD series can be recognized by wide moon-shaped grooves and fan-shaped spots. The GD discs are supplied with a black coating.

All EBC Premium brake discs are cast with a material strength of 150 N/m2, with a strictly controlled surface hardness that may vary less than 20 HB. They are then precision CNC machined with a surface tolerance of less than 0.001 mm.
The unique wide grooves draw cool air to the brake pad during heavy braking. In this way, the brake temperature drops, while the gas, dirt, dust and debris are removed from the contact zone with the brake pad. Improves braking in off-road conditions (wet, mud or sand), making them also a good choice for 4x4 cars. The “spots” eliminate the risk of cracks in the disc, which occurs with fully perforated brake discs.
