EBC USR grooved brake discs

Grooved Ultimax USR brake discs are extremely quiet due to the small straight grooves. The USR discs are supplied with a black coating.

All EBC Premium brake discs are cast with a material strength of 150 N/m2, with a strictly controlled surface hardness that may vary less than 20 HB. They are then precision CNC machined with a surface tolerance of less than 0.001 mm.

The Ultimax sports brake disc has many narrow grooves and the progressive angle of the grooves creates a quiet sports brake disc. Another big advantage is that the brake pads wear evenly and parallel. This is in contrast to perforated brake discs, where raised edges can develop.
